'Obra de Arte' and 'Vamos, vamos los pibes': Deportivo Armenio's projects for the development of the lower divisions
Deportivo Armenio will present on their special jerseys two of the strategies that they will deploy in the lower ranks in 2023: Work of Art and Player 13.
The first one includes on the shirts, in addition to the Armenian alphabet, names and surnames of fans who will "sponsor" the youth. This implies that they will pay the value of the shirt and not only will they receive an equal one, but they will also establish a relationship with their sports godson, who agrees to call once a week and tell how he is progressing both in football and in studies.
This strategy will have its official launch in the match against Argentinos Juniors in the majors for the Argentine Cup, and will continue weeks later in the different lower divisions of the club.
The second action will be launched on March 15 and consists of rewarding the players who come out on the field and have emerged from the club's youth ranks. To do this, a patch will be added to their shirts that says "Seedbed" and the name of the sponsor, the Argentine company that produces YIN YANG cereals and seeds.
The objectives of this strategy are to generate pride in the players, their families, their trainers and also in the fans who see the "kids" of the club defending the shirt of the institution. From there comes the name of this action, "Come on, let's go the kids", which will be implemented in several clubs by Claudio Destefano, the club's 13th Player, who will be in charge of these actions.
All the money raised in these actions will be invested in necessary sports equipment in the minor divisions that can improve the performance of the boys.
