FIFA announced the prize money for the 2025 Club World Cup
The Federation will distribute a total of $1 billion among the participating teams, setting a historic record for a club competition.
$525 million will be awarded to clubs just for participating. Depending on the federation they belong to and other criteria, they will receive more or less money. South American clubs, such as Boca Juniors or River Plate, will earn $15.2 million each.
The remaining $425 million will be distributed based on sporting performance in the tournament, as follows:
Group stage win: $2M
Group stage draw: $1M
Round of 16: $7.5M
Quarterfinals: $13.12M
Semifinals: $21M
Runner-up: $30M
Champion: $40M
