Decathlon presents its own brand of Padel
Known for its gigantic stores spread all over the world, Decathlon continues its expansion within the sport with the launch of its own brand of Padel. By the name of Kuikma, it reaches the market to cover the main demands of a growing public but with lower costs than the big brands. Despite having its peak in the 90s, paddle grows among fans and according to company records, only in Spain 124,000 pallets have been sold during 2018. With this release, Decathlon will compete in its stores with its own suppliers but with the aim of giving more and more options to the client.
Kuikma will go on the market with a range of paddles aimed at the expert athlete, with the best materials and innovations on the market, such as 12K carbon fiber. The design and manufacture, has the support and collaboration of the World Padel Tour coach and former world number 1, Horacio Álvarez Clementi. Under the motto "Play over the walls", the brand maintains that "to go over the walls is to be different from what exists today and that the playing field is not limited by four walls.
