Club América ends 25-year partnership with Nike
The Mexican club has announced its agreement with Adidas, which will take effect on July 1, 2025.
This will mark Adidas’ third cycle as Club América’s technical sponsor, following previous partnerships from 1984 to 1993 and from 1994 to 2000, when the club switched to Nike.
A key highlight is that Club América will join Adidas' exclusive "Elite" group, the brand’s highest-tier sponsorship, which includes jerseys featuring Heat.Rdy technology and apparel from the Originals line.
Only five clubs worldwide have this type of partnership: Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Arsenal FC, Juventus, and Manchester United. América will be the first in the continent, as even Boca Juniors and River Plate are not part of the group.
