City Football Group adds an eighth team to its ranks
The City Football Group (CFG) company added a new team to its list: Mumbai City F.C. The company that owns Manchester City acquired 65% of the Asian team, which disputes the Indian Super League. This club is the second that CFG buys in the Asian continent and is the eighth worldwide.

Manchester City (England), Girona FC (Spain), New York City (United States), Melbroune City (Australia), Yokohama F. Marinos (Japan) and Torque (Uruguay) are the other six teams that complete the list of targeted clubs by City Football Group.
"We are eager to play an active role in the local and amateur communities of Mumbai City FC, and work with our co-owners to develop the club as quickly as possible," said Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Sports Director of the team.
