Betting sponsors returned to second-division football
Chacarita Juniors announced "Mr. Bet" as its main sponsor for 2026, the only one related to online casinos in the Primera Nacional.
Mr. Bet is a platform that functions as a benefits club for users of legal online casinos (.bet.ar), protected by the Lottery of the Province of Buenos Aires.
It will be the only sponsor on the front of the "Funebrero" jersey this year, replacing MoM Sports, Credifacil, and Inquinat.
The last instance of betting sponsors in the second tier of Argentine football was Bplay with Nueva Chicago in 2022. In the current season, only Chaco For Ever (Lotería Chaqueña) has a sponsor linked to gambling in addition to Chacarita.
