Federico Valverde becomes Mercado Libre ambassador
The Real Madrid star has been named the new face of the e-commerce platform in Uruguay.
As his first official act, "Pajarito" starred in a campaign promoting exclusive discounts on Mercado Libre throughout the country.
The brand signed Valverde with the strategic goal of positioning itself as the premier destination for World Cup merchandise and official Uruguay national team products ahead of the 2026 tournament.
Valverde follows in the footsteps of other football icons who have served as Mercado Libre ambassadors for specific campaigns, including Ronaldo Nazário, James Rodríguez, Miguel Layún, and Neymar.
