Adidas dominates the opening round of the World Cup
The three-stripes brand sponsors the national teams that secured the highest point total during the opening fixture of the group stage.
In total, the brand accumulated 23 points courtesy of performances from Mexico, Qatar, Scotland, Germany, Sweden, Japan, Belgium, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, and Colombia.
Nike follows in second place with 22 points, driven by results from South Korea, Canada, Brazil, the United States, Australia, the Netherlands, Uruguay, France, Norway, and England.
Third place goes to Puma, racking up 14 points through Switzerland, Morocco, Ivory Coast, Egypt, New Zealand, Austria, Portugal, and Ghana.
The remaining technical partners picking up one point each include Umbro (DR Congo), Kelme (Bosnia), Merooj (Irán), and Capelli (Cape Verde).
