Trapiche announced its partnership with Miami Sharks
The Argentine winery has become the official sponsor of Miami's first team in the MLR (Major League Rugby).
Miami Sharks was founded in 2023 and competes in the professional rugby league in the United States. The team has strong Argentine roots, having been purchased by a group of entrepreneurs from Argentina led by Marcos Galperín, CEO of Mercado Libre. Additionally, head coach Cochi Pellicena and star player Tomás Cubelli are also Argentine.
With this move, Trapiche takes another step in the sports market in the U.S., following its earlier partnership with Messi's Inter Miami, which included setting up a dedicated bar at the club's stadium.
