The Positive Impact Franco Colapinto Generated in Formula 1 in Argentina

 Since the arrival of the Argentine driver to the Williams team, motorsport in the country has experienced significant growth.

Broadcasts of the top motorsport category in Argentina grew by 62%, reflecting the renewed interest from the public thanks to Colapinto. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix, for example, achieved double the rating compared to previous races.

Additionally, before joining Williams, the young prospect had approximately 600,000 followers on Instagram. Currently, he exceeds 3.7 million, representing an increase of 516.67%.

The team, for its part, also saw significant growth. In 2022, it had 2.5 million followers, and by November 2024, it reached 3.8 million, equivalent to a 52% growth in its audience.

Franco Colapinto’s influence has also sparked discussions about the return of Formula 1 to Argentina, with negotiations underway for a possible Grand Prix in 2027.
