Puma would be new technical sponsor of LaLiga
The next season of LaLiga would have a new technical sponsor. After 23 years together, the Spanish and Nike events would culminate their commercial relationship. After having renewed in June 2016, the agreement would come to an end, the design of the balls being one of the main reasons.
In pursuit of obtaining a unique product that is not the same as the other leagues, such as with Nike, LaLiga would sign with Puma as technical sponsor. The German brand would reach the Spanish event, expanding its presence in football, in a marketing strategy that changed in the last part of last year and ratified at the beginning of 2019, adding new ambassadors.
With this agreement, Puma would be responsible for designing and producing the official LaLiga balls. Having as main premise, the creation of an exclusive product, as we mentioned before, the German brand would be strong in the world of football.
