Puma leads the field among CONMEBOL Libertadores technical sponsors

A breakdown of the brands outfitting the contenders in the 2026 edition of South America’s premier club competition:

The German brand takes the lead, outfitting nine clubs: Palmeiras, Fluminense, Peñarol, Platense, Universidad Católica, Sporting Cristal, Cerro Porteño, Libertad, and Liga de Quito. Additionally, Puma serves as the official match ball provider for the tournament.

Its historic rival, Adidas, ranks second with seven clubs: Flamengo, Cruzeiro, Boca Juniors, Cusco FC, Universidad Central, Junior, and Independiente Medellín.

Rounding out the top tiers are Marathon with five teams (Ind. del Valle, Bolívar, Universitario, Always Ready, and Barcelona) and Umbro with three (Lanús, Nacional, and Deportes Tolima).

Eight other brands are represented with one club each: Ruge (Estudiantes), Nike (Corinthians), Le Coq Sportif (Rosario Central), FILA (Santa Fe), Capelli Sports (Coquimbo Unido), Runic (Dep. La Guaira), AiFit (Ind. Rivadavia), and Athleta (Mirassol).
