Puma activates its sponsorship with Pelé 50 years after his goal number 1000

After celebrating the fiftieth anniversary, Puma, technical sponsor of Pelé, decided that those 1000 goals will be replicated but in virtual form. Using the hashtag "# eKingPelé", eSports players can upload their goals with the Brazilian to social networks and try to reach the historic brand of the striker.
To generate this peculiar tribute, the German brand has partnered with the advertising agency BETC / Havas. “A king crowned by his feet with a Puma football boot. And now, 50 years later, Pele deserves all the honors for his achievement. We want to score 1,000 goals again, this time in the video game, involving the new generations who have never seen the King in the field, ”said Andrea Siqueira, executive creative director of BETC / Havas.
