Mercado Libre brings Franco Colapinto to race in Argentina for the first time

As part of the "Road Show" tour, the driver will become the first Argentine to perform a Formula 1 exhibition in Buenos Aires.

The event will take place on Sunday, April 26, covering a 2km circuit across Libertador and Sarmiento avenues in the Bosques de Palermo neighborhood.

Colapinto will drive a 2012 F1 E20 single-seater, featuring the full livery and branding of the Alpine team. All of his sponsors will be present trackside, with Mercado Libre serving as the official presenting partner of the event.

Regarding spectators, the layout will include free viewing areas as well as tickets for premium locations, fan zones, and hospitality suites featuring brand activations, all of which go on sale April 7.

This marks the first time in 14 years that an F1 driver has navigated a street circuit in Buenos Aires; the last occurrence was in 2012, featuring Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo in a Red Bull Racing car.
