Manchester City will have towers in the United Arab Emirates

The English club announced a strategic alliance with Ohana, a real estate developer from the Middle Eastern country.

The project involves residential buildings called "Manchester City Yas Residences by Ohana," which will occupy an area of almost 1.7 million square meters along the Yas Canal waterfront in Abu Dhabi.

The goal is to increase the presence of the "City Brand" in the UAE, as the City Football Group's majority shareholder is an Emirati group. Other club actions in the Arab country include its youth academy tours and the "Manchester City Abu Dhabi Cup" youth tournament.

Manchester City is not the first sports entity to carry out a project in the United Arab Emirates. In 2025, the AFA announced the construction of the "AFA Tower" in Dubai, while Real Madrid inaugurated a themed amusement park called "Real Madrid World" in 2024.
