Levante UD Launches Campaign to Support DANA Victims
The Valencian club wore "mud-stained" jerseys during their match against Elche on Saturday, November 16, and is now auctioning them to donate the proceeds.
Following severe flooding in many Spanish provinces, which caused significant material damage and claimed over 200 lives, Levante UD launched an initiative to honor volunteers who stepped up to help. The gesture involved wearing their primary jerseys, specially painted to appear mud-stained with durable paint. A total of 28 unique jerseys were modified, each featuring the message: "In tribute to all those who were there when we needed them."
Days after the match, the club began auctioning each jersey, starting at a base price of €100. The auction will run until December 2. All proceeds will be donated by Levante to various organizations supporting the flood victims.
