Leo Messi to have his own stand at Inter Miami’s stadium
The MLS franchise has officially named a section of the new Nu Stadium the "Leo Messi Stand."
Located in the East Stand of the venue set to open on April 4, the section serves as a living tribute to the man who revolutionized Inter Miami both culturally and competitively.
Messi will become the first footballer in history to play a match in a stadium featuring a stand or facility named after him.
Inter Miami follows in the footsteps of Newell's Old Boys, which announced on Leo's last birthday that the new stand at the Estadio Marcelo Bielsa would also bear his name.
