Genoa Pays Tribute to Boca Juniors on Their 120th Anniversary

The Italian club has unveiled its fourth kit to celebrate the bond between the two teams, as the Argentine side was founded in 1905 by immigrants from Genoa.

The jersey, in Boca Juniors’ traditional colors, features a navy blue design with a yellow stripe and gold details. It stands out with a vintage collar that pays homage to ‘El Pibe de Oro,’ along with the Griffin of Genoa crest and Kappa’s yellow logo. Additionally, the back of the shirt features the inscription “ZENEIX!” as a tribute to the nickname “Xeneizes,” which is linked to the Genoese dialect.

The kit will make its debut on March 29, when Genoa faces Juventus away.
