DEVA presents a new edition of the University League of Electronic Sports

In 2018, the first edition of LUDENS, the University League of Electronic Sports organized by DEVA, the Association of Electronic Sports and Videogames of Argentina, was held in conjunction with FEDUA, the Federation of University Sports in Argentina. 450 teams from 42 universities across the country participated in that edition. The 14 finalist participants were the protagonists of the grand final held at the Universidad Nacional del Sur, within the framework of the Argentine Esports Festival.

In order to redouble the bet, in 2019 LUDENS was regionalized to reach more universities and students who practice this sport throughout the country. The second edition includes 7 university regions with the objective of generating local membership of university teams that can exchange experiences and involve their universities in the world of Esports. The university teams that are finalists of their regions in each discipline will face each other in 2020 in the grand final. The five disciplines that will be present this year will be League of Legends, Clash Royale, FIFA19, Rocket League and CS-GO.

Registrations are made from the LUDENS website, www.deva.org.ar/ludens, and will remain open from September 16 to December 13 of the current. The exception is for Region 3, corresponding to the Province of Santa Fe, whose registration ends on October 13.
