The Argentine Association of Polo recorded a record collection in sponsorship
Since the arrival of Eduardo Novilla Astrada as President of the Argentine Polo Association, the main objectives were set for the growth of the sport nationwide. One of the premises was to strengthen the link with sponsorships, look for new brands that wish to venture into sports and recover those that for different reasons stopped accompanying the AAP. At the beginning of 2018, the agency "We Are Sports", led by Guillermo Ricaldoni, became the Exclusive Commercial Agent of the Association and the Argentine Polo Open, and in just one season the results were concrete.
In 2018, the AAP incorporated sponsors who had never approached the sport before or returned after a long time, as in the case of Peñaflor (Trapiche, Navarro Correas and Johnny Walker), Coca Cola, We Work and La Pegasus. This resulted in an 80% increase in revenues for this item, compared to the 2017 season. In total there were 70 million pesos invested for the sponsorships that help the growth of the polo nationally and internationally.
