Cristiano Ronaldo steps into the streaming world ahead of the World Cup

The Portuguese superstar has invested in LiveMode, the parent company of the Brazilian channel CazéTV.

The media outlet, founded by streamer Casimiro Miguel, will broadcast 34 World Cup matches in Portugal, with Cristiano serving as a strategic partner and shareholder to expand its international reach.

CazéTV holds full broadcasting rights for the tournament in Brazil and will stream all 104 matches live on YouTube, making it the first streaming channel in history to achieve this for a World Cup. The platform previously broadcasted matches from Qatar 2022, Euro 2024, and multiple Club World Cups.

Cristiano Ronaldo's goal is to expand CazéTV's audience on a global scale, aiming to redefine live football consumption through new platforms.
