Coca-Cola will sponsor UEFA Euro 2020

Coca-Cola will sponsor UEFA Euro 2020

The Coca-Cola soft drink brand will sponsor the 2020 Euro Cup, which will be held in 12 different cities on the continent. The company will have exclusivity in non-alcoholic beverages during the competition, which will begin on June 12 and end on July 12.

Unlike the UEFA Champions League, which has Pepsi as a sponsor, this time the Union of European Associations again leaned on the main competitor that is Coca-Cola to be present in the matches of the next Euro. Since 1988 both parties have been associated for the competition that brings together the best European teams. In addition to the classic drink, the company will provide its isotonic drink Powerade.

The new format of the European Championship will not have a host country, but it will be 12 cities in the continent that receive the matches. Amsterdam, Baku, Bilbao, Bucharest, Budapest, Copenhagen, Dublin, Glasgow, London, Munich, Rome and St. Petersburg are the selected venues. The semifinals and the final will be played at the legendary Wembley Stadium.

For the 2020 edition, UEFA confirmed agreements with companies such as Alipay, Booking, FedEx, Hisense, Socar and Volkswagen.
