Catholic University achieved a large collection to renovate its stadium
Universidad Católica de Chile is one of the largest clubs in the neighboring country. With a stadium for 15,000 people, a campaign began to remodel it and increase the number of people. Making changes not only in the quantity but also in the installation of led lights and a ceiling in the four stands, the club decided to finance part of the agreement by selling percentages of its shares. This action managed to raise more than 11 million dollars, and amortize the total cost that is valued at 30 million.
"I am very happy since we managed to reach very important figures, which allow us to continue advancing with our dream. For me this closes a very special week, since I feel firsthand the interest of the fans and shareholders in our project, plus the very important figure that we managed to raise, seemed very significant to me," said Juan Tagle, president of the Catholic.
