AFA presented the Women's Soccer Tournament with its new sponsors
This weekend will begin the first date of the Rexona Women's Soccer Tournament, which will be the first edition in professionalism. The Argentine Football Association made the formal presentation last Thursday at the Ezeiza site, with all the schools present and the fixture raffle was held, which will have the superclassic between River and Boca on the first day.
In addition to the raffle and presentation, AFA announced to the companies that will support this season of the first division: Flybondi, Infobae, TNT Sport and Rexona will sponsor the championship. On the part of the television channel they will be in charge of broadcasting live four matches of the date by its signal. On the Rexona side, the brand continues to be involved in women's football, as it also sponsors the Argentine women's team. On this occasion the company acquired the name rights of the league.
The Rexona 2019/2020 Tournament will have a new structure, with a fixture organized in three instances: Qualifying Stage (all against all format, 17 dates), Championship Zone (they rank the first 8, all against all format, two wheels) and Permanent Zone (teams classified 9th to 17th, all against all format, two wheels and 3 descents). The team that consecrates champion will obtain a quota for the Conmebol Copa Libertadores de Fútbol Femenino 2020.
