Racing and the association A.L.M.A., carried out an action regarding the early detection of Alzheimer's and the confusion of names.
The Association to Fight against Alzheimer's Disease and Racing joined again in an awareness campaign on the detection of symptoms compatible with this disease, after the well-remembered interview with Leonardo Sigali in April last year, when he answered "I don't remember" to each query from the pitch journalist once the match has finished.
On this occasion, the players jumped onto the playing field with shirts that bore their corresponding number, but the last name of a teammate, in reference to the confusion of names, one of the signs that may indicate the beginning of Alzheimer's to seek early detection.
The shirts with the changed names were also projected on the stadium's giant screen while the formation of the starting team was announced, and the club published an institutional video on its networks with testimonials from the players to disseminate the campaign.
