Adidas and Reebok join forces to design a shoe
Several years ago, Reebok was acquired by adidas to carry out a change that would take it away from conventional sports and lead it to position itself as a crossfit and lifestyle specialist brand. Since that announcement, at no time have the two brands associated in campaigns or launches until these days when the details of the presentation of the Instapump Fury Boost shoe model were known. With the aim of revolutionizing the running market, the new model will combine adidas Boost technology and the design of an iconic 90s Reebok shoe.
The model will be launched in the European autumn / winter 2019 campaign (spring / summer in South America). A prototype of the shoes will be available on October 5 at AtmosCon, one of Japan's biggest sneaker events, where only fifty pairs will be sold. "Instapump Fury Boost is exactly what we would have tried in 1994 if we had the technology," said Steven Smith, designer of the iconic shoes.
