Banco Santander presents Balones Solidarios Santander

Solidarity is one of the most resonant words for footballers, since from their place they can achieve unexpected results that lead to a single help. Under this concept, Banco Santander brought together 32 great athletes who have excelled in Spain to participate in Balones Solidarios Santander. An initiative for a good cause, where all proceeds will go to Fundela (Promotion of Lateral Sclerosis Research that promotes the popularization and research of the ELA) and Common Goal (solidarity project led by footballer Juan Mata and that inspires the football industry to donate 1% of their profits to organizations around the world that use football to achieve real changes in society).

The 32 Balones Solidarios Santander intervened by the athletes can be acquired through auction in an online bid by means of the platform www.salaretiro.com. Each of these, are exhibited during this month of May in different points of Madrid. Participate in this initiative, sportsmen of the likes of Carolina Marin (badminton), Vero Boquete (soccer) and Sandra Sanchez (karate), the players Ronaldo Nazario, Fernando Morientes, Joaquín Sánchez, Germán Burgos, Juan Mata, Julio and Patxi Salinas, Predrag Mijatovic, Fernando Redondo, Fernando Torres and the Spanish technical director, Vicente del Bosque.
