Vinícius Júnior named global ambassador for Havaianas
The Brazilian national team star has become the face of the iconic flip-flop brand in a partnership focused on the 2026 World Cup.
Havaianas unveiled a collection of sandals customized by Vini, featuring various designs that incorporate his name and signature number 7.
In a unique move, the collection launched first in the stores of São Gonçalo, the striker's home neighborhood. They are expected to be available worldwide shortly.
Vinícius follows in the footsteps of Ronaldinho, who in September 2025 signed a strategic alliance with Rider, Havaianas' main competitor in the rubber footwear market.
This is not the first time Havaianas has launched a football-centric line during a World Cup year; for South Africa 2010, the brand released pairs representing all 32 participating nations.
