UFC creates a new category of sponsorship for the entrance of PokerStars

To close 2018, poker and mixed martial arts combine in an unprecedented alliance to generate more exposure. In the last few hours, UFC announced the creation of a new sponsorship category for the entry of PokerStars as the new main sponsor. The online gaming company will have its first presence in the event marked for next Saturday (29), which will have as main attraction the duel between the American Jon Jones and the Swedish Alexander Gustafsson, at the Arena T-Mobile, in Las Vegas, U.S. As it transpired, the brand will also have activations in the digital and social media of UFC and in the future, television commercials.

"We are excited that PokerStars has joined our list of global partners and has helped us create a sponsorship category for our final event of 2018. This contract establishes the basis to work together with PokerStars in the future and increase our customer bases in the main markets, "said Paul Asencio, senior vice president of global alliances at UFC. It is important to highlight that, through the distribution of UFC's worldwide programming through television and internet, PokerStars expects to reach 1.100 million homes distributed in more than 160 countries and territories, which speak about 40 different languages, only with this event ending the year.
