TIM will sponsor the Italian Cup for three parties
The Serie A is preparing to live the definition of the Italian Cup. With the victory of Lazio against Milan, Atalanta and Fiorentina will define the last quota for the grand final. Looking to stay with the second major event in the country, the definition of it will have the particularity of changing its name to the semifinals and final.
In an agreement that will last only three games, TIM becomes the title sponsor of the Italian Cup (TIM Cup). Having a long relationship with the directors of the Serie A, the Italian telecommunications company signed a blitz agreement replacing Trenitalia (state train company) who canceled the sponsorship with the support of the Ministry of Transport to save more than 22 million euros.
The amounts of this special agreement have not been disclosed, but TIM returns to the rescue of the Italian Cup, where he was already title sponsor leaving the same in the season 2017/2018
