The MLS joined the celebration of Earth Day
With a joint work between adidas, MLS and MLS Works (Foundation of the league) they carried out a new year of awareness for the planet earth thanks to the support of the organization Parley For The Oceans. With the aim of raising awareness about the tons of garbage that we throw into the seas and changing our attitude as a society before it is too late, the 24 franchises of the North American football league used, during the weekend date, monochromatic ecological shirts. Each of the local teams used the Blue Spirit (navy blue), while the visitor Legend Ink (turqueza).
The high-performance shirt was made of innovative ClimaLite fabrics, derived from recycled polyester fabrics made with Parley Ocean Plastic technology, which use plastic waste collected from beaches and coastal areas as raw material. The 24 kits are available for a week in the MLS store with a promotional price of USD 90.
