The increase in prize money for the Copa Argentina does not come alone
While AFA increased the payout by 70% for teams advancing to the next round, ticket prices also rose by nearly the same percentage.
Fans wishing to attend the round of 64 matches will have to pay $50,000 (general admission) or $70,000 (stalls), representing a 66% increase compared to 2025 at the same stage ($30,000 for general admission and $45,000 for stalls).
In comparison, Copa Argentina tickets are more expensive than those for the English FA Cup. On January 20, Salford City and Swindon Town will face each other in the third round (round of 64) of the cup, and ticket prices range from 17 pounds ($33,000) to £19 ($37,000).
