Powerade gears up for the World Cup alongside the Argentine National Team

Under the tagline "Dale Power a tu destino" (Give Power to your destiny), the isotonic drink brand has unveiled a collection of custom *Albiceleste* bottles.

The collection features four special designs showcasing the national team's stars, including Messi, De Paul, Paredes, Otamendi, Dibu Martínez, Almada, among others. One of the editions introduces the new "Cool Citrus" flavor, packaged in a light-blue bottle.

Powerade sponsors the reigning world champions through the long-standing partnership between the AFA and The Coca-Cola Company, serving as the official supplier for training sessions and matches.

The inclusion of Leo Messi's likeness can be seen as a case of "ambush marketing," a strategy that references a high-profile event or public figure without being their direct sponsor. The captain maintains a historic partnership with PepsiCo and has starred in campaigns for rival brand Gatorade, in addition to owning his own beverage brand, Más+.
