Nike announced four technological innovations for 2026

The brand presented advances in apparel, footwear, and new products.

The most relevant for football is Aero-Fit technology, enabling airflow between skin and fabric for enhanced cooling. It will debut during the 2026 World Cup with major national teams.

For footwear, Nike introduced the "Mind" 001 and 002 models based on neuroscience. These feature foam nodes in the soles to stimulate the brain through different areas of the foot.

Another innovation is the "Therma-FIT Air Milano" jacket designed for the Winter Olympics. It includes sections that inflate/deflate to provide personalized temperature control.

Finally, in preliminary testing phase is "Project Amplify" - a motor-assisted footwear system for walking and running, developed with robotics company Dephy.
