McDonald's taps into F1 fever with Red Bull on their menu

Just days away from the Australian Grand Prix, the fast-food giant has added Red Bull energy drinks to its menu across select locations in Australia.

To spearhead the campaign, a high-octane ad features the Red Bull F1 car pulling into a "Drive-Thru" to order a combo, with team engineers and mechanics taking over the kitchen to ensure a "pit-stop" speed delivery.

The promotion is currently live in Queensland and Victoria—the latter being the home of the Albert Park Circuit, where the season-opening Australian Grand Prix will take place this Sunday, March 8.

This activation mirrors a successful short-term collaboration between the two brands during the 2025 São Paulo Grand Prix. In that instance, the iconic "Golden Arches" logo was featured on the halo of Max Verstappen's car, marking the first time the fast-food chain appeared on a Red Bull chassis.

While McDonald's is not a global sponsor of Red Bull Racing, the brand holds a regional partnership and licensing rights that allow it to leverage the team's high-speed imagery to drive sales during major race weekends.
