Mbappé leader in sales of Nike shirts
The revolution that has marked the young Frenchman Kylian Mbappé in football has been demonstrated in the sales of shirts. Paris striker Saint-Germain and the French national team is the player with the most Nike jerseys sold worldwide over Neymar, Griezmann and Pogba.
The 20-year-old striker, world champion in Russia 2018, is the one targeted by the American brand to exploit his personal brand: "KM7". Nike has the privilege of wearing Mbappé on both teams and this is the key to his leadership in shirt sales. Cristiano Ronaldo is the main football image of the company, but he only sells shirts with his dorsal in the Portuguese national team. The crack Luso does not wear Nike at the club level since his departure from Manchester United in 2009.
In the last year, Nike sold more than one million shirts of the French team. According to the newspaper L'Equipe, Mbappé sells five times more jackets than his companions Griezmann and Pogba.
