MasterCard will sponsor Naomi Osaka

The tennis player Naomi Osaka was presented at the Masters in Madrid with a new sponsor. MasterCard will support the Japanese athlete who was champion of the last Open in the United States and is currently No. 1 in the WTA Ranking.

Since her consecration at the last Grand Slam of the 2018 season, the 21-year-old Japanese signed seven new sponsorship contracts. MasterCard was the seventh company that trusted Naomi to represent them on the field. The tennis player wears the company logo on the side of her visor.

Nike had to make an exception to its own rules to continue dressing the Japanese. The American brand does not allow other companies to have exposure along with their logo. However, Nike set aside this prohibition and Naomi Osaka wears the Nissin (instant noodle brand) and ANA (airline) logos on her uniform. On the other hand, the automotive Nissan, the creams Shiseido and the watchmaker Citizen are the other three brands that sponsor the tennis player.
