Macron unveils a new home jersey for Banfield after fans' complaints
In February, the brand released Banfield’s home and away kits, but they were not well received by the club’s supporters.
The original designs were based on a generic template used by the brand. In fact, the same jerseys were also produced for Vélez Sarsfield but sold as pre-match shirts at a lower price than Banfield’s official kits.
The new home jersey features green and white vertical stripes, with a pattern resembling drill bits, a nod to the team’s nickname, "El Taladro."
It will debut in the match against Racing Club in the Liga Profesional. The jersey is available for purchase at Banfield’s official store for $110,000, while the previous versions remain in stock at $90,000.
