Inter opens its soccer school in Uruguay

Caudillo, captain, aguerrido and with the personality of very few, are some of the characteristics of Diego Godin. In this last pass market, the defender became a new player of Inter Milan and next to him, thousands of illusions come to the club to find that player who returns the glory. With the presence of its vice president and idol of the club, Javier Zanetti, the Italian team presented the Inter Academy in Montevideo. With the aim of expanding the brand and bringing its game values to more and more places, Inter adds to its tenth country to receive the academy, after Belarus, Brazil, Argentina, China, Slovakia, Hungary, Indonesia, Japan and Lebanon.

The school will begin operating in September with 50 children between 6 and 12 years old. In total, Inter Academy has more than 20,000 young people as students, as well as 400 local instructors and 30 Italian coaches in the countries where it operates worldwide. "Thanks to Inter Academy, many children have the opportunity to develop not only as soccer players but also as people, maintaining the values that have always distinguished Inter, and that they can do it alone in their own countries without having to travel far. I am very happy that now it is a possibility for the children of Uruguay, a country that has always had a deep connection with the colors of the Nerazzurri, "Zanetti said.
