Giannis Antetokounmpo and Filip Forsberg join MLS Nashville SC as minority shareholders
The 2021 NBA champion and two-time MVP decided to invest with his brothers Thanasis, Kostas and Alex in a group that has Nashville SC as one of its belongings. “That's right, we have the Antetokounbros,” the team's official Twitter account announced.
Forsberg, for his part, is the all-time leading scorer for the Nashville Predators in the NHL, a team in which he still plays. The Swede told about his childhood as a Liverpool fan and said that having attended some games at the Nashville SC stadium convinced him to invest in the franchise.
