Flamengo presents a t-shirt vending machine

At the end of last year, Gremio surprised its own and others with the placement of an official t-shirt vending machine at the Porto Alegre Airport. Aiming at tourism and above all by giving a more accessible point of sale to fans, this initiative has given the club many economic returns.

Emulating this action, Flamengo presented its t-shirt vending machine. Located in the Jardim Oceânico train station in Barra da Tijuca (Rio de Janeiro), the brand-new semifinalist of the CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores will have a new business unit, which will have available jackets of different sizes as well as male models and Feminine created by Adidas.

This Flamengo action is called “Manto Express” and the purchase of the shirts can only be done through credit cards. The managers of the Brazilian team take this initiative as an “experience” and if it is satisfactory, the club plans to expand the vending machines initially throughout Rio de Janeiro and then in other cities in Brazil.
