Azulgranas add a million followers in the most popular social network of the moment and only the female selection of the United States exceeds that figure
After having reached a million followers, the official FC Barcelona official account (@fcbfemeni) dedicated a publication to thank the support and it is not for less, since it is the whole group Blaugrana is the club with more followers in Instagram. European female football continues with its work for expansion and professional development and social networks have become a strategic ally. The Catalan team account was created in 2016 and accumulates more than 1,800 publications and 14 million "likes". The Chelsea FC is located close to a total of 950 thousand, while Arsenal Ladies completes the podium with a total of 548 thousand followers.
Manchester City, for example, chose to unify its accounts some time ago, so it does not have an Instagram dedicated to the female team. The same happens with the Olympique de Lyon, which in total adds 860,000 followers in their sole account. At the global level and always talking about feminine soccer, only the United States team is superior to the Blaugranas, with only 100,000 followers (1.100,000 followers).
