Barclays generates the most important agreement in women's football

Women's football begins to take greater relevance every season in different parts of the world. Barclays and The FA (Football Associationiation) signed the most important agreement in the history of women's football: the English bank will sponsor FA Women's Super League after investing 10 million pounds.

The agreement between both parties will begin to work in the next season and will last for two more championships. The figure is a new record for women's sport in England. In addition to sponsoring the championship, Barclays will support the association to boost the growth of women's football, which year after year grows in several countries. With the arrival of the bank to the league, the distribution of the prizes increases: 500 thousand pounds the teams will be divided according to their classification at the end of the season.
