Barcelona renews the identity of its channel

The first level football teams have turned their marketing strategies around generating their own content. Based on one of the phrases that Florentino Pérez gave years ago: "the rival of Real Madrid is Disney World", the groups bet on exclusive products to gain presence in different markets and above all to give a new platform to their sponsors.

For this reason, investment in these platforms is an important item for clubs. Just Barcelona has made official the re-launch of its channel "Barça TV", which will be 20 years from its first edition (July 27, 1999). Betting on high definition (HD), the new platform will be broadcast from the new facilities of Barça Studios, a space of 2000 square meters in Sant Just Desvern.

Renewing the image of the channel, Barcelona also bet that "Barça TV" has more presence in Spain through its agreement with cable companies. Meanwhile for the rest of the fans outside the Iberian country, they can access it through the web and they can also choose the "on demand" option.
