An Australian brand to launch an official Maradona collection
Comma Football has acquired the rights to Diego's surname and will present its clothing line on January 31.
The brand is known for its designs "made by fans for fans," as most do not hold intellectual property and instead reference clubs and players in other ways—such as not using official crests or referring to players by nicknames (like "La Pulga" for Messi or "King Kevin" for De Bruyne).
The "Maradona® x Comma" line will include a series of t-shirts, jerseys, and hoodies honoring the career of "El Diez," featuring various elements like his signature, numbers he wore, and his image throughout different stages of his life.
The commercial rights to the "Maradona brand" are managed by the Swedish company Electa Global, following an agreement with his five heirs in October 2025. Comma is one of the first brands to use them since then, as Electa plans to market the rights for audiovisual content, luxury apparel, video games, and other products.
