Spotify activates its sponsorship with FC Barcelona by adding artist Ed Sheeran as a sponsor

The British musician will present his new album “Play”, whose logo will take the place of the main sponsor on the front of the jersey, marking the seventh musical collaboration between the club and the music platform.

In addition to the special jersey, the launch includes a co-created clothing collection featuring a retro shirt inspired by the 2004/05 season — when Ed Sheeran was just starting to record music — as well as hoodies and other football-inspired apparel and accessories.

The kit will be worn for El Clásico against Real Madrid on October 26.

This collaboration is part of the ongoing partnership between the Catalan club and the streaming platform, which has previously featured artists such as Drake, Coldplay, Rosalía, The Rolling Stones, Travis Scott, and others as sponsors in recent years.
