New record of attendance at LaLiga

Television, social networks and streaming have been the clubs' intimate enemies to fight public attendance at the stadium. In spite of them, LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1 | 2 | 3 registered an historic attendance record in the first round of the season with a total of 7,520,225. Never before, in the first round, the 7 million spectators were reached, which has meant an increase of 8.71% compared to last season with 602,372 more spectators in total in the stadiums of the two categories.

The 5,172,228 million viewers in LaLiga Santander represent an increase of 2.35% compared to the first round of the 2017/18 season, with 118,942 more attendees to the stadiums. On the other hand, LaLiga 1 | 2 | 3 reaches a historical data at this stage of the season with respect to previous seasons. This spectacular record means an increase of 25.93% more attendance compared to the 2017/18 season between the months of August and January in the silver category.
