Kevin Durant Became a Shareholder in Paris Saint-Germain
After winning an Olympic gold medal, the NBA player took advantage of his time in France and agreed to acquire a stake in the Parisian team.
This deal will make him the second minority shareholder of the Parisian entity, with 2% of the club’s shares.
The idea is that, through this agreement, PSG will expand its brand internationally, especially in the United States. This will also be Durant’s second involvement in football, after acquiring 5% of the Philadelphia Union, an MLS franchise, in 2020.
