Japan House takes advantage of the Copa America

Several years ago, Japan began the project called "Japan House" in three large cities (Los Angeles, London and Sao Paulo) with the aim of being a point of dissemination of all the elements of genuine Japanese culture for the international community, a environment that transmits hospitality and innovation, offers leisure and is an active part of the day to day of various people. With the start of the Copa América on Brazilian soil, the directors of the venue have announced a series of meetings and broadcasts of the games of their selection together with the Consulate General of Japan. In the run-up to his debut at the event, a symposium called "Cultural exchange between Brazil and Japan - Development of human resources through football" will be held with the participation of Kohzo Tashima (president of the Japan Football Association), Fernando Sarney ( vice president of the CBF), Walter Feldman (general secretary of the CBF) and César Sampaio (former player of the Brazilian national team).

During the days 17, 20 and 24, Japan House will broadcast the matches of its selection against Chile, Uruguay and Ecuador, respectively. The entrance will be free and visitors will be able to enjoy a selection of shirts from the Japanese team consisting of nine models that accompany the evolution of the uniform, starting with the 2002 World Cup. The day of the Japanese debut at the Copa América (17 / 7), there will be a football debate with the former player Edmilson, where he will speak about Japanese football nowadays and the relationship that the country has between sport and education.
