Inter Miami becomes the most valuable MLS franchise
Messi's team leads the ranking of franchises with the highest market value and economic projection, published by the specialized media outlet Sportico.
The "Herons" have an estimated value of $1.45 billion, representing a 22% growth compared to 2025. This puts them ahead of Los Angeles FC—the previous leader—which is valued at $1.4 billion.
The top 5 is rounded out by LA Galaxy ($1.17B), Atlanta United ($1.14B), and New York City FC ($1.12B). The second-fastest growing franchise compared to 2025 is the Chicago Fire, with a 20% increase.
Only three of the 30 teams saw a decrease in value compared to the previous ranking: San Jose Earthquakes (-3%), Vancouver Whitecaps (-4%), and CF Montreal (-4%).
